Coming from 7-0 down early in the contest, the Red Devils forward pack helped lead the charge for the home side and set up a half-time lead.
After the main break, the Red Devils went from strength to strength to extend their lead and hold off a last-ditch effort from the Bulls.
The win is Gunnedah's third in a row and marked Moree's first loss for the season.

Red Devils coach Dale Martin said while his side played well, he knew Moree was under-strength.
"Moree is a very good side and will certainly be there at the end of the season," Martin said.
"We know they are missing a few really good players, but you can only beat what is in front of you on the day.
"This is a really big scalp for us."
Martin said the side's forward pack "was the difference" in Saturday's win.
"I can't really single out any one player, I think our whole forward pack played well," he said.
"Our subs stepped up when they got their chance and everyone banded together to make sure we got the job done.
"Honestly mate, I'm stoked with that result."
After scoring victories over the Pirates and Quirindi in their past two matches, the Red Devils will now look to their next assignment, Walcha away.
"It will be a big test for us but we should have a bit of a spring in our step," Martin said.
