Gunnedah High School Year 12 advisor Rebecca Henderson said the event was a great idea.
"Students had to come up with ideas to try and make some money to support the formal and a gift to the school at the end of the year," Ms Henderson said.
"With the release of all the new movies they thought this would be a good one."
The event will start at 5.30pm when nibbles, tea, and coffee are served. There will also be a lucky door prize draw, raffles and other prizes. Aladdin will then start at 6.30pm.
Tickets are $25 and are on sale from Gunnedah High School office and the Second Edition Book Store.
