Gunnedah High School's upcoming movie fundraiser will offer 'a whole new world' of support for their Year 12 formal.
Students are hosting a movie screening event for the new Aladdin film at The Civic on Thursday, May 23 to help subsidise the cost of their formal tickets.
Gunnedah High School Year 12 advisor Rebecca Henderson said the event was a great idea.
"Students had to come up with ideas to try and make some money to support the formal and a gift to the school at the end of the year," Ms Henderson said.
"With the release of all the new movies they thought this would be a good one."
The event will start at 5.30pm when nibbles, tea, and coffee are served. There will also be a lucky door prize draw, raffles and other prizes. Aladdin will then start at 6.30pm.
Tickets are $25 and are on sale from Gunnedah High School office and the Second Edition Book Store.
