Mrs Bentham told the children that, if a fire started, they needed to get down low and leave the house straight away.
"You can't stop to get your favourite toy; you have to get out as fast as possible," Mrs Bentham said.

Mrs Bentham said Gunnedah Fire and Rescue aimed to do educational talks every 12 months, giving age-appropriate information to preschoolers and primary school children.
