A RIFLE, drugs and credit cards were allegedly seized by police from a ute found at the back of a supermarket loading dock.
Clinton David Williams pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, contravening an AVO and possession of a prohibited drug in Tamworth Local Court on Thursday.
The 35-year-old pleaded not guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence and not keeping a firearm stored safely.
The Werris Creek man was allegedly seen driving a blue Commodore ute.
Officers searched the vehicle and allegedly found a rifle and cannabis before they arrested Williams about 3pm on Wednesday and took him to the police station, where he was charged with six offences.
The investigation saw Oxley detectives and the domestic violence unit, the Region Enforcement Squad, Target Action Group, highway patrol and Werris Creek and Quirindi officers acting on public information that led to Williams' arrest on Wednesday.
Williams' bail was refused by Magistrate Julie Soars.
