Hitachi Gunnedah's parts and services manager Matthew Bradley said the branch was "certainly pleased" a member of the community had nominated them for the award.
"It's a privilege to be nominated and in the running for the award, so we're obviously doing something right as a branch," Mr Bradley said.
"Everyone in the branch puts in as much as they can give to the [mining] industry and it's something we're all pretty passionate about."
