Carroll Public School's Sesquicentenary Committee president Camilla Hoddle said the event was "fantastic" despite the weather.
"The weather was a dampener but it was still a success," Mrs Hoddle said.
"Most people asked if we were going to do it again, and we might do."
Mrs Hoddle said she was very appreciative of everyone who volunteered to put in the hard work in organising the event, and everyone who attended the evening also.
The fair kick-started the school's 150 year celebrations, and will be followed up by a sequin ball and a historical formal open day in September.
"We're hoping to see as many ex-students and ex-teachers, or anyone who has been involved with the school, to contact the school [for the formal open day]," Mrs Hoddle said.
The formal open day will be held on September 20, with the sequin ball to follow directly after on September 21.
More details for these events can be found on the Sesquicentenery Facebook page.
