The Gunnedah Netball Association fielded four teams on the day, including under-12, under-13 and under-14 sides.
Each squad gained valuable experience during the carnival, which also marked the Gunnedah open-age team's first games of the season.

Team coach Nerieda Ewington said the open-age squad had a forgettable day.
"We played six games and we lost six games unfortunately," Ewington told the Namoi Valley Independent.
"With only seven players available it was always going to be a bit of a struggle, but I think the team really benefited from some time on court.
"It is only the first carnival of the season, so there is a long way to go yet."
Ewington said the open-age team had a "blend of youth and experience".
"We had a couple of girls playing there first games with us, as well as some I've coached since the age of 12," she said.
"From that perspective, it was a really rewarding day to be coaching them.
"They never gave up and I think they will get better as the season rolls along."
The team will now turn its attention to regional representative games and a carnival over the Queens Birthday long weekend.
"If we can get everyone together for training I think we will be really competitive," Ewington said.
"I know it is easier said done given people have got other commitments, but I think we will get there in the coming weeks leading into the carnival."
