Police are appealing for public help after several thefts of diesel from the same property near Gunnedah.

On May 3, thieves stole $350 worth of diesel from a fuel tank on the property on Gunnembene Lane in Carroll.
The thieves cut through a chain and padlock on the property's gate to get to the fuel tank.

According to Gunnedah police, this same property has been hit 'three or four' other times by thieves.
Gunnedah police Sergeant Mark Benson said they would speak to a suspect who they believe could be connected to the thefts but were appealing for public help.
"If anyone sees anything suspicious write down the registration of the car and a description of the car and we'll see what we can do," Sergeant Benson said.
Meanwhile, rural crime officers in the North West are also appealing for information about another diesel theft in Boomi, three hours north of Gunnedah.
Approximately 200 litres of diesel from an above ground tank was stolen from a property in the town, and tyre tracks were observed leading to the fuel tank.
An iron fence post and wires were also damaged in the theft.
