Things only got worse for the Swans in the final quarter, as the Dogs piled on five goals to one to finish with a 21-19-145 to 7-9-51 victory.
Returning Bulldogs veteran Andrew George (four goals) was a stand out in his side's 94-point victory, while Jasper Thomas, Mark Ewington and Jacob Spackman all booted three goals on the day.
Adam Curgenven was named the Dogs best player on the day, while Damien Wendt was the Swans best attacking weapon with three goals.
Bulldogs veteran John Woolaston said the side had "done a lot of work" to improve on last week's victory over the Tamworth Kangaroos.
"We focused on control, pace of the game and delivering to our forward line," Woolaston told the Namoi Valley Independent.
"I think we had the result of the Crossroads Cup in the back of our mind and really tried to get the guys to play the game at our pace."
Saturday's victory saw the Dogs welcome back a number of experienced players including George, Brent Hartley and Brad Jenkinson.
"They all slipped straight back in really well," Woolaston said.
"Especially Georgie, but also our captain Ben Maher as well.
"Those guys have been around a few years with us and all of the guys look up to them and respect them.
"With that respect we have for them, it makes it pretty easy for those guys to slot back in."
