Ian McArthur and Luke Johnston received two awards apiece at Elders' recent state awards at the Star Casino in Sydney.

For the fourth year, Ian was named Elite Salesperson of the Year, and took out the number two spot for rural salesperson of the year.
Luke topped the residential auction portfolio section and placed second for residential salesperson of the year.
Luke has just two years of realty experience under his belt and Ian joked that Luke will soon "overtake me" in residential sales through his effective utilisation of social media.
A "born and bred" local, Luke said he's "a bit self-taught" in the multimedia field but believes showcasing properties through online videos and high-quality images can make all the difference.
"If it gets people talking about [properties], it's probably a priority [and] it's probably what's helped us grow this arm," he said.
"I've sold a couple of places off Facebook [to] people I know.
"We've grown our market share quite a bit. We're not known traditionally in Gunnedah for residential sales."
Ian said the local branch has invested in a lot of multimedia equipment to market properties and had seen the results from the new approach.
"We don't really need to be down the main street. With social media, you can market from anywhere," he said.
