The Gunnedah High School student took out the Northern District Cricket Club's Mark Taylor Cup at a recent award ceremony.
McGuirk was awarded the honour, as well as being named the club's most promising player.
The ceremony was made even more special with former Australian captain Mark Taylor on hand to award McGuirk with the Cup named in his honour.

McGuirk spent the season with the Sydney-based club, travelling every week from Gunnedah to play with her side.
It was a lean start to the season for the Gunnedah native, her first two innings for Northern Districts resulted in ducks.
However, McGurik was able to find her form thereafter, scoring 350 runs from her next seven innings.
The run of form included McGuirk's maiden career century against UTS North Sydney, followed by knocks of 67 and 68 in her next two innings.
McGurik finished the season with an average of 50.
The night's honours continued for McGuirk as she was presented with the ball she scored her maiden century with.
