This activity will be brought to the Gunnedah community by Action Reaction Entertainment, and will involve a superhero acrobatics show, plus games and activities presented by costumed hosts.
Children are encouraged to attend dressed as their favourite superhero.
"We are collaborating with Action Reaction Entertainment for the Autumn school holidays to bring some fun, new activities to the program," Ms Emojong said.
"The group will also present an acrobatics and movement workshop and film and stage fighting workshop."
Another new activity is pushy races, which the council has partnered with the Gunnedah Cycling and Triathlon Club for the event to be held at the Gunnedah Go-Kart Track.
"The program is designed to provide really fun and engaging activities for the youth of the shire to keep them busy over the holidays," Ms Emojong said.
"School holidays are always a great time to develop new skills and participate in fun activities, so come and join the fun."
Other activities will include storytelling, craft workshops, movie afternoons and a trivia night.
