St Xavier's Primary School students sported hats and crazy hair on Wednesday to raise money for Project Compassion. It was the second fundraiser for Compassion, with an earlier pancake stall raising more than $200.
Last week, Year 5 students travelled away to spent three nights at the Great Aussie Bush Camp in the Tea Gardens near Hawks Nest.

The students participated in many activities, which focused team building, team work, self-esteem and responsibility.
Mary Ranken Child Care Centre kids got out and about this week, visiting Kinfolk, the railway station and Gunnedah Dental Centre.
Over at Gunnedah Public School, students have been learning about bullying for the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.
