Society member Meryl Hennessy said the funds were the profit made at last year's Schools on Stage.
"St Mary's did lighting and sound for us last year so it meant we saved a lot of money and can give it back to the schools," she said.
Fellow society member and eisteddfod convenor Marg Amos said September's Schools on Stage was one of the "most successful" in previous years.
"It's very special getting together, doing something culturally and musically and hopefully we can keep it going.
Mrs Hennessy said the donations for the schools was a good way to encourage for students to get involved in the upcoming eisteddfod, with entries closing on April 12.
