Ms Dewsbury said it was the first time MooGully had competed at the Canberra show.
"It's very pleasing to have such great results leading into Sydney Royal Easter Show in one month's time," Ms Dewsbury said.
"The trip and competition was greatly supported by family who live between Gunnedah and Canberra.
"I’m always grateful for this support but especially now with the drought as everything is much more difficult."
Eleven MooGully ponies have qualified for the Sydney Royal in April.
Ms Dewsbury is a life member of the Gunnedah Show Society and takes part in the local show every year.
