The Dance with Travis line dancing group and other local line dancing groups will come together to lead a social at the Curlewis hall from 11.30am-5pm.

The event will raise much-needed funds for the volunteer RSPCA branch, which has been fostering and rehoming cats and dogs in the community.

"You are more than welcome to bring a toddy or two along," the RSPCA said.

"Come and support the good cause, enjoy the music and have a yarn."

The cost is $15 for dancers and $10 for non-dancers and will include a lunch.

There will be lucky door prizes, 100 Club tickets and raffles.

Last year, the event raised $1200 for Gunnedah Can Assist.
