Ex-Wallaby Tim Gavin shared a wealth of knowledge with Carroll Public School students on Wednesday.

Mr Gavin spoke to the children about the upcoming Rugby World Cup and filled them in on the competing teams. He also shared stories about his time as number eight on the Wallabies team.
Students dressed up in the Wallaby team colours, green and gold, and enjoyed learning about rugby teams and their colours, and different countries around the world.

"It's a very important year for rugby, with the world cup, and it's a wonderful event," Mr Gavin said.
"It only happens every four years so there's a lot that goes into it."
The Breeza farmer said that it was important for the children to have aspirations, especially in sport.
"It's good for young children to dream big and aspire to these sorts of things," he said.
"The Australian women are doing really well ... so it's a really exciting time for both men and women playing the game in Australia."
After Mr Gavin finished his presentation, teachers and students alike enjoyed some Wallabies-themed jelly cups.
