The action will take off on Sunday, March 3, and feature plenty of events over four weekends.
Gunnedah Shire Council’s tourism supervisor Chris Frend said there was something for everyone, with new events added to this year's program.
“Some new and exciting events will headline this year’s program, including the Carwash 2380 Motorkhana and lawn mower racing demonstrations to be held at the Gunnedah Showground on March 10," Mr Frend said.
"[There will also be] a talk from Red Bull air race pilot Mat Hall at the Gunnedah Airport on Saturday, March 23,” Mr Frend said.

Other speed-related events will include the Mount Porcupine hill climb, car and drag racing, motorbike races, greyhound races, and a speed chess challenge.
Gunnedah Motoring Enthuasists' Geoff Hood said the winner of this year's hill climb would receive a memorial trophy honouring the late Roddy Whylie who helped kick-start the race.
"We're looking forward to Gunnedah locals having a go, if they wish to," Mr Hood said.
Mr Hood said the Carwash 2380 Motorkhana event was open to locals who were 15 years and older.
"It's a contest around witches hats in an area about half a hectare in size. It's a low-speed event but it is timed," he said.
"It's to test the drivers' skills."
Weeks of Speed committee member Owen Tydd said Weeks of Speed had grown in popularity over the years.
“What started out as just one week when it first commenced has now grown so much that is now nearly a month long,” Mr Tydd said.
“There is certainly something for everyone.”
