Lauren is in her final year at Calrossy Anglican School and applied for the CWA Phillip Group Scholarships through the Curlewis branch.

She has received $450 towards her education and said it would be a big help, particularly as she prepares to start major HSC works for extension English two and extension history.
"It's going to help me to work less hours at my job and supplement the income," Lauren said.
"I'd really like to thank the Phillip Group for supporting rural kids."
Her mum Jo-Ann Little said "costs just keep on coming in" and she was grateful to the Sydney branch for helping country kids.
"Being regional, we really appreciate having a city group supporting us out here," she said.
"They're very generous."
Lauren would like to pursue human rights law when she has finished school.
