This year, the show is scheduled for April 26-28, and show society president Robert Witts said there would be plenty to see and do.

“We’re having a live music band, Hurricane Fall, and they’ll play a few sessions on the Saturday evening,” Mr Witts said.
“The main attraction in the arena is the utes, and we still have the fireworks.
“We’re hoping people will decide to get off their farms and come in just for an afternoon of relaxation, and we’re hoping the live music will attract people to come in as a family.”
Mr Witts said there would also be face painting for the little ones, and a clown show to boot.
He also said there was already lots of interest in the art and photography sections, which are now open.
“It’s growing every time due to the local photography clubs,” he said.
“Last year, both sections were as full as they could be.”
The show society is also looking for entrants for the Gunnedah Showgirl competition, in both the junior (16-18 years) and the senior (18-25 years) categories.
