February 13 marks the anniversary of what is considered a defining moment in Australia's history - the day then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd delivered a national apology to Australia’s Indigenous peoples, particularly the Stolen Generations.
Sarah Sing and Mikaela Aldridge organised the morning tea at Winanga-li, inviting community members along to the centre.
"We decided to do something informal this year to bring the community together to recognise National Apology Day," Ms Sing said.
