“Cowgirls” Stacey, aka “Stack”, and her identical twin sister Mel feature in the third season of Nine’s TV show, which aired on February 5 and follows the travel journeys of average Aussies as they experience new countries.
“I feel very lucky to be invited back for season three of Travel Guides,” Stack told the NVI.
“I cannot believe that when Mel and I started Travel Guides I had not left the country and now we’ve been all over the world and visited over 20 countries.
“Mel and I don’t spend much time together so being able to travel the world together is very special.”

The jetsetting is a world apart from Stack’s reality of enduring the drought.
“I live in a drought-affected area. It’s very tough. Some days are harder than others,” Stack said.
“I lost about 45 per cent of my herd, and knowing you have tried your hardest and sometimes [knowing] it’s not good enough is hard.”
When she’s not filming, Stack said she’s “working on my horses and stock and my roping, spending a lot of time with my children and rodeoing almost every weekend”.
Stack said there were plenty of highlights and unique experiences in season three including the Iguazu Falls, a volcano in Hawaii, the Dead Sea and a gaucho ranch in Argentina.
“We were so lucky to have the opportunity to ride the horses,” Stack said.
“Mel and I were the first in over 25 years to do so.”
Stack said back home in Australia, she and Mel swam with “huge” tuna.
“I was not a fan of it,” Stack said.
“The fish are as big as me and the water was so cold.”
A firm favourite of Stack’s is New Zealand.
“The mountains, the water, the scenery – it is all so beautiful and so close to home,” Stack said.
“I would love to take my family there.”
