After overcoming a couple of collapses to post 164 the competition leaders tore through the Mornington top order to be one wicket away from first innings points at stumps.
Lamb was the destroyer skittling the Mornington top four for a combined 13 runs.
Coming in at 3-12, Justin Carter was the shining light with the bat as Mornington limped to 9-89.
He was unconquered on 44, Jonathan Crowe (15) the only other batsmen to make double figures.
Lamb finished with 4-12 while Sam Doubleday picked up 3-32 and did the damage in the middle order.

Earlier Jayde Campbell underpinned Court House’s innings with a patient 57 off 79.
Opening the batting Lamb also chimed in with 41 while opening partner Oscar King hit 25 off 15.
They put on 33 for the first wicket, Campbell and Lamb then adding 56 to have them on target for a big total.
But then not long after drinks Callum Hayne got one to nip back and clip the top of Lamb’s stumps. It sparked a collapse with Court House losing 4-9 to slump from 1-89 to 5-98.
Brad Gander (17) and Lachlan King (11) put some starch back in the innings but they never really regained the momentum they enjoyed earlier.
Campbell was the last man to fall becoming Hayne’s seventh victim.
Crowe (2-35) and Jono Middlebrook (1-27) were the other successful bowlers for Mornington.
