Schools across town are due to welcome back their fresh-faced students on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week for another big year.

Among the last few summer fun activities was a three-day camp hosted by Louis Tennis Academy, where eager kids brushed up on their basic skills such as serving, doubles play and rallying.
According to the school’s websites and social media pages, these are the dates students are set to return:
- Carinya Christian School: all students, including prep, return on Tuesday;
- Gunnedah Public, Gunnedah South Public, GS Kidd Memorial School and St Xavier’s Primary School: all students return on Wednesday;
- Gunnedah High School and St Mary’s College Gunnedah: years 7, 11 and 12 return on Wednesday; years 8, 9 and 10 return on Thursday.
