There was an incredible storm in the Gunnedah shire on Monday night.
The night sky was lit up by lightning for a couple of hours.
The Dolbels from the Blackjack Camera Club went out storm-chasing and Stuart captured some fantastic images of the storm in all it’s splendour on the Booloocooroo Road, facing towards Curlewis.
Curlewis saw its best rainfall for the year, with the local store recording 22.4mm of rainfall on Monday and 4mm on Sunday.
The wet weather came as a relief to many following temperatures of 40 and above in the past fortnight.
