Fire and Rescue NSW Boggabri received the call at 10.34am and attended the scene five kilometres east of Baan Baa. 

Fire and Rescue NSW said the driver had no major injuries and no other vehicles were involved. The truck was carrying shredded paper.

The Boggabri crew was supported by Baan Baa Rural Fire Service (RFS), which attended at 10.44am. The RFS said the operator of the vehicle was no longer in the vehicle when its crew arrived, and they helped to secure the scene. Western region highway patrol also attended.

A total fire ban has been declared for Boggabri on Wednesday and Thursday.
