Among the activities was a pool party, Summer Reading Club at the library and an excursion to Tamworth.
On Wednesday, Gunnedah teens spent time at The Youthie in Tamworth with their peers. Activities included table tennis, video games and a music jam.
At the library, kids can participate in the Summer Reading Club, with activity bags for pre-school, primary and secondary schools. The bags are filled with puzzles and games and also a web address where children can sign up online and submit their work such as drawings, poetry and book reviews to put them in the running for some fabulous prizes.
