MEMBERS of the Gunnedah Pony Club have celebrated a successful year with a rally day at the Gunnedah Showgrounds.
With the day’s theme centred around Christmas, members of all ages got into the festive spirit with a Christmas parade.
Some amazing costumes were on display throughout the parade, with Briana Guy taking out the top award followed by Lucy Hannaford in second place and Caitlin Guy, Hugo and Charlie Bradford finishing in equal third.

Club member Karen Guy said the Christmas themed activities organised by Tracey Castle were fun for everyone.
“The kids certainly enjoyed themselves and it was very funny to watch,” Guy said.
“The kids horses were quite happy to patiently wait for their riders to dress in a Santa suit, eat cake and drink a cup of cordial at different stations.
“Water events and sporting events were also enjoyed on the day, with it culminating in a massive water fight involving pretty much everyone.
“Really a fantastic day was had by all.”
The club will look to have a break over the summer holidays before returning for more action in 2019.
