Almost 50 locals came together on Friday for International Day of People with a Disability.
Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises celebrates the day every year and gathered at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club for a hot buffet lunch, a few rounds of pool and a go on the Wii.
Workshop Enterprises’ Ray Gaynor said the employees "always look forward to it” and it was a chance to catch-up outside of work.
“This is a good social day for them,” he said.
International Day of People with a Disability is sanctioned by the United Nations and aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.
