The local Pensioners and Superannuants Association has given more than $1500 to Yallambee Homes for the Aged for new blinds.
Some of the funds were raised through trading tables during Bingo after the association’s meetings.
“We were very grateful for the goods that people brought in to sell, and to the people who brought the goods,” association president Myra Tailby said.
“A special thank you to Jim and Shirley Tinsey for the fresh vegetables, jams, and pickles and also Helen Cruickshank for her lemon butter and pickles.”
Ms Tailby said all were welcome to play Bingo on Mondays from 1.30pm at The Smithurst Theatre.
