Horses from across the region will help make up the fields, which the Quirindi Jockey Club expect to be “very competitive”.
Jockey club secretary manager Ted Wilkinson said he expected to see the track perform well.
“At the moment it’s rated a good four but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it improve to a good three,” Wilkinson said.
“The track has been looked after very well and it was lucky enough to have an inch of rain last week, which will certainly give it a boost.”
All seven races carry a prize of $22,000 with race five shaping as the feature race.

Quirindi trainer Geoff O’Brien said he would “love to see a deluge of rain” before tomorrow’s races.
“I have Grasscutter going around in race five and to be honest he is at his best in the wet,” O’Brien said.
“He is a an honest horse who on his day is as good as any, but in the wet I would be a lot more confident.
“Still we live in hope.”
O’Brien will also have Mahlia running in race four, its first start at the 1600 metre distance.
“It will be interesting to see how Mahlia goes,” he said.
“She was pretty good in her last start over 1400 meters at Inverell – she looked like she still had some run left at the end.
“The mile distance might be a challenge for her but we will have Reece Jones riding her, so I know she’s in good hands.
“Reece has come along really well and I’m confident he will have a couple of good rides for me tomorrow.”
