The Spirit of Christmas Fair will be held on November 30 in the Gunnedah CBD for the fourth year running.
The annual event is organised by the Gunnedah and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Retail Precinct Committee and attracted more than 50 store holders and store last year.
Chamber representative Lisa Davis said the committee was “well on the way to making sure the event is a huge success”.
“This is a fun, family-focused community event that provides an opportunity for the Gunnedah community to explore unique boutiques and stores, browse pop-up designer stalls and indulge in Christmas inspired entertainment, food, performances and activities. There will also be a visit by Santa,” she said.
Mrs Davis said the annual Shop Gunnedah campaign would also run in the lead-up to the fair.
“This is a shop-local campaign designed to encourage local shopping this Christmas period with local shoppers rewarded for purchasing goods and services from participating businesses by going into the draw to win one of five Gunnedah Gift Cards, with a prize pool total of $5000 up for grabs,” she said.
“We are currently seeking expressions of interest from stallholders, food vendors, entertainers, schools and community groups to showcase their goods, services and talents at the fair.”
Interested exhibitors can contact Lisa Davis on 0434 368 267 or email events@gunnedah.org.au for information or to book a site. Exhibitor packages are also available by emailing events@gunnedah.org.au
