The 13-year-old went out and claimed victory 13-16 years 80-150cc big wheel class two weeks ago in Tamworth.
“[I’ve had a] few finals positions [at nationals], like fifths and sixths, but never anything this big,” Fouracre said of his victory.
The win wasn’t always a certain thing with Fouracre saying: “They had me there for a little bit”.
The Gunnedah Motorcycle Club member fought back to claim his first national title after he started racing roughly five years ago.
However, that first race half a decade ago wasn’t the first time the youngster jumped on a bike.
“A lot of it was out in the paddock, then when I got to about eight I started racing,” he said.
Fouracre wasn’t the only Gunnedah rider to bring home silverware from the Australian Junior Track Championships.
Tom Donnelly, Cooper Williams, Nate Jaeger and Jake Hope all rode sensationally to claim top 10 finishes.
