GoCo Community Care has joined the state-wide initiative to host activities on Sunday, October 28 in support of NSW Grandparents Day.
Gunnedah’s premier home care service, GoCo, is inviting grandchildren to join their grandparents on a mystery bus tour for the day.
Gunnedah GoCo manager Bruce Mercer said grandparents hold a very special relationship with their grandchildren, and grandparents day is a good opportunity to build on that relationship.
“Grandparents are such an important part of our community,” Mr Mercer said.
“Grandparents Day gives us an opportunity to reflect on the special role grandparents play in our families and the wider community, spend time with them and have a lot of fun.”
