The athletic ascents of Lacie Quigley and Lachlan Tydings have continue.

The duo both won a gold medal at the state all-schools athletics championships at Homebush.
Quigley, of Quirindi High School, won gold in the 1500 metres.
She clocked four minutes 44.52s seconds, with her nearest competitor three seconds adrift.
She is now the fastest 14-years girl over 1500m in NSW.

Tydings, who graduated from QHS in September as the boy’s captain, threw 54.95m to win the discus in the 17-plus age group – with a whopping six metres separating him and the second-placegetter.
Quigley and Tydings will represent NSW at the national all-schools athletics championships in Cairns on December 7-9.
At the state CHS athletics championships in Sydney in September, which preceded the all-schools event, Quigley and Tydings also won gold in those events.

Quigley also claimed silver in the 800m and bronze in the 3000m.
