Fun For Kids is a free event and will include a barbecue from 6.30pm followed by a movie from 7.30pm.
The event is one of 17 being held across regional NSW these school holidays and will see PCYC NSW staff split up into three teams to cover three distinct routes in Western NSW to bring activities to as many communities as possible.
“We wanted to give back to young people and the community by delivering events where young people can be distracted from the drought and have some fun,” PCYC NSW CEO Dominic Teakle said.
“PCYC NSW aims to empower young people no matter what their circumstance and Fun For Kids is one example of this. It is a chance for young people to forget about their troubles and to celebrate the strength of their community.”
PCYC NSW’s Fun For Kids tour will visit Moree, Narrabri, Gunnedah, Coonabarabran, Gilgandra, Dubbo, Bourke, Walgett, Lightning Ridge, Coonamble, Nyngan, Hay, Hillston, Lake Cargelligo, Condobolin, Forbes and Cowra from October 3-10.
