STUDENTS from all of Gunnedahs schools have hit the dance floor to support country kids.
Kids from years four to eight from got to together on Friday at the Carinya Christian School hall to dance the night away with all proceeds going towards rural charity Royal Far West.
Event organiser Kerrie Hargraves said the event supported a worthy cause.
As a mother, secondary teacher and member of the Gunnedah community, my drive toward this fundraiser is quite simple; gratitude, Mrs Hargraves said.
I am forever grateful that my husband and I have two happy, healthy children.
This is a small way of giving to others and an expression of great respect for the work of Royal Far West in supporting many of our local families.
