The Gunnedah Lions Club is set to distribute 10 hampers of non-perishable goods donated by members of the Gunnedah Preschool.
Gunnedah Preschool treasure Stephanie Irwin said everyone at the facility contributed to the donation.
“During AgQuip we organised a number of different fundraising opportunities,” Ms Irwin said.
“Out of all of that we have been able to put together 10 hampers that will also include $100 Woolworths gift card in each one.”

Miss Irwin said everyone at the pre-school was keen to get involved.
“It’s like a domino effect, once one person gets involved, everybody wants to do what they can,” she said.
“We all know someone who is going through this drought and doing it tough, so it is really good to be able to help out.
“Hopefully, they will be able to provide some relief to our local families.”
Gunnedah Lions Club president Nev Adams said the club would distribute the hampers to those in need.
“I have been in touch with the Salvation Army and they will put us in touch with some worthy recipients,” he said.
“On behalf our club and the Gunnedah community I would just like to thank the Gunnedah Preschool for their generosity.
“It means a lot and we will sure it goes to a worthy cause.”
