With a 94 year history of helping rural families, Royal Far West is now seeking anyone who has been involved with the charity to reach out at this year’s AgQuip.
Royal Far West’s business director Jacqui Emery said AgQuip was a great way to bring people together.
“Royal Far West has a rich history and a large network of alumni that attended our Manly location and have fond memories.
“We would like to know who they are and are keen to reconnect with locals who were patients from the 1940s to the 1980s.
“Last year we had a number of people drop by to say hi and we would like to see more people visit this time.”
Ms Emery said the organisation’s stand would also provide information for locals ahead of the Royal Far West kids health bus arrival in Gunnedah in September.
“We will be offering visitors a variety of different information and services throughout the event,” she said.
“On Tuesday and Wednesday until midday, we are offering free kids’ speech check-ins with our clinician Frances O’Loughlin, who can help identify any speech issues and then give the necessary guidance on what to do next.
“Following on from that, we will also have our Windmill and oral health services manager Fiona Phipps, who will be on hand to answer any questions visitors have about the National Disability Insurance Scheme.”

Ms Phipps said she was looking forward to meeting locals at the event.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting lots of families who have children with disabilities, and being able to chat all things NDIS with them,” Ms Phipps said.
“We will also have information about our award-winning NDIS approved disability service, Windmill.”
