The Gunnedah branch of the Greater is just one of the branches supporting the annual fundraising event.
This year, the local branch will be selling bunches of daffodils for $8 and other Daffodil-related merchandise.
A table will be set up outside the bank on Conadilly Street from 9.15am-2pm so the community can make purchases.
“The Greater wanted to figure out ways to get more involved with the Cancer Council and Daffodil Day being one of our flagship events is a great way to be involved,” Cancer Council’s community relations coordinator Kate Dubois said.
Now in its 32nd year, Ms Dubois said the Cancer Council was running a major online campaign in 2018 to encourage people to buy a virtual daffodil.
“The whole idea behind the campaign this year is buying a daffodil for someone you love in the hope they will not need the funds raised,” she said.
