There are 43 finalists this year, with the winners to be announced at the awards on Friday, August 10 at the Gunnedah Town Hall.
Chamber vice president Michael Broekman said the chamber was looking forward to hosting the annual awards.
“Chamber is really grateful to those businesses that have decided to recognise their employees and the wider community for making the nominations,” he said.
“It’s great that businesses and the community have got behind it.”
Award categories include excellence in business and small business, outstanding employer of choice, start-up star, and above and beyond awards for individuals.
“The quality and number of nominations we received this year across all 18 categories was simply brilliant and is a real indicator that our local business community is alive and well”, president Stacey Cooke said.
Mr Broekman said there was great diversity in the list of finalists.
“It’s really important to recognise the achievements of businesses and their staff, especially in our very diverse business community,” Mr Broekman said.
“I very much encourage anyone that’s interested to grab a ticket and come along.”
Mr Broekman said he was thankful to the organising committee and particularly project coordinator Lisa Davis for the work they have put into the upcoming event.
“Lisa’s been absolutely fantastic,” he said.
“The committee has done a wonderful job to get it to this point and all the credit goes to them for what will be a very successful night.”
