Coach Wayne Harris had the side prepared well for the game and steeled for a big performance, and the boys delivered.
With a large contingent of Quirindi locals sideline to cheer them on, they came out firing, scoring off their first use off the football
They ran in another three tries inside the first 10 minutes to skip away to a commanding advantage.
Bonnyrigg to their credit never gave up and managed to cross the Quirindi line twice, but Quirindi matched that with two tries of their own for a 6-2 half-time lead.
The second half saw the play move from end to end with neither side wanting to let in a try and the Quirindi players putting their bodies on the line in some desperate defensive efforts.
Quirindi went on to score two more tries to Bonnyrigg’s one to secure their place in the 10-team finals series.
