On the day, the temperature rose but it wasn’t the only thing that was heating up with the level of competition also starting to intensify as the end of the season quickly approaches.
The game between Giants and Phoenix was no different with a hotly contested game of netball being played.
It was an evenly matched affair but it was the Giants who managed to snaffle victory.
The skills on display showed just how much improvement the players have had since the start of the season.
The game was played in great spirits and enjoyed by both players and spectators alike.
With the association’s 60th anniversary celebrations to be held on Saturday, August 18, it was heartening to see that the future of Gunnedah netball is set to continue well into the future.
