The 40-year-old was charged by police last Friday after the weapons were seized during the raid at a Colin Court property on July 5.
The search of the property was conducted by uniform police and detectives from Gunnedah and Tamworth with help from the Oxley Target Action Group (TAG).
During the search, police said they uncovered a number of prohibited weapons which were later sent off for forensic testing.
“The man was charged late last week after the results from the specialist testing came back," a police spokesperson said.
“No arrests were made on the day of the search, but overall we are very pleased to have found not only the drugs but the prohibited weapons as well.”

Following the raid, police charged a 40-year-old woman with drug possession and possession of a drug implement after a search of the house found what police allege is cannabis and an unknown white powder.
“A search of the property found a small amount of cannabis and a number of suspected prohibited weapons which have been sent off for specialised police examination,” the spokesperson said.
“We can confirm that a 40-year-old woman was not arrested on the day but has since been charged with drug possession and possession of a drug implement.”
Both the man and woman will face court in early September.
