The car was first reported stolen from a Fairview Street Property on Wednesday night and was later found dumped by police several kilometres away.
Police say the car looked like it had been used for joyriding as the back tyres were worn down.
“At this stage it looks like joy riders,” a police spokesperson said.
“When the car was found the back tyres were considerably worn down which suggests the car was used to do burn-outs and driven around paddocks.”

Police will now examine forensic evidence from the car for clues.
“The car is currently being tested for evidence,” the spokesperson said.
“At this stage we don’t have any suspects but our investigations will continue.
“We want to take this opportunity to remind residents to ensure their cars and property are secured to prevent any chance of theft.”
Investigations are continuing.
