Murrell was second in the Gordon Barry & Co (60cm+) class and fifth in the J & J Eats (60cm+) class while Wilkinson finished fourth in the Whitehaven Coal class and fifth in the Bredal Australia - Grand Prix (135cm+) class.
The achievements of local riders added to the success of the event.
“We’re very happy with how the weekend went,” Witts said.
“We had a large number of volunteers and quite a few business houses that came on board for the first time as well as others that have sponsored before.”
Witts added: “We’d like to thank those that supported us on weekend and hope they all had a good time.”
