Local riders have had excellent results at the state dirt track titles at Gunnedah – headed by Kurtis Tydd’s pro 450 win and second place in pro open.

Another local rider, Marty McNamara, finished third in pro 450 and won MX open.
Veteran Gunnedah rider Anthony Dall claimed the over 35cc title, while youngster Jake Whittaker won C-grade and Bailey Walker came third in under-19.
Darryl Woodhead and Shaun Fuller finished third in open sidecar and won support sidecar, while Andy Harrison partnered Newcastle driver Brett Pearce to victory in open sidecar.
Dall, Gunnedah Motorcycle Club president, said it was a “real good weekend”.
“We had real big crowds out here,” he said.
He added that over 110 riders competed.
