Under the lights of Kitchener Park, the Boggabri Kangaroos and the Gunnedah Bulldogs clashed in the Group 4 under 18s competition on Friday.

After two halves of tough footy, the Roos came away victorious in a close encounter. Boggabri edged out Gunnedah to win 26-22.
Bailey Lennox led in the try-scoring department with a double while Gunnedah’s Nick White also score a pair of four-pointers.
Cameron Devine, Michael Long and James Hogbin also snared tries for Boggabri while Jonathan Crowe kicked three goals.
Jasper Thomas and Thomas Randle were Gunnedah’s other try-scorers with James Graylaw kicking three goals.
Hawken Durrant led the way for Boggabri to be awarded three best and fairest points for his performance.
Gunnedah’s Oscar King grabbed the two points while Hogbin backed up his try with one best and fairest point.
There will be a general bye in the Group 4 competition this weekend.
The 18s competition will be back on June 30 with Gunnedah taking on Narrabri and Boggy up against Kootingal-Moonbi.
