The event was hosted two Fridays back by the Quirindi Lions Rugby Club and was a great success.
The Lions provided canteen services and equipment to the school as well as 50 per cent of the canteen proceeds going to QHS. The games were faster than most of the boys were accustomed to and there was opportunities for individuals to shine. The girls also played a very fast game with several breakaway tries.
AWARDS ON THE NIGHT
Highest point-scorer: Ronin Hadden (six tries from two matches)
QHS Beast Award (given to a player that continuously puts their body on the line): Emily Butler, who was sporting a great black eye on Tuesday.
MVP Girl was awarded to Jordie Thompson
MVP Boy was awarded to Wesley Riley Johnson
